LIMITED TICKETS AVAILABLE AT DOOR
Offered ONLY Friday, 3:30-4:30 pm
Erin Thompson, Instructor, representing Peddlers Den
(you must have a show ticket to participate in classes)
In this freehand art class, you will get to play with Dr Ph Martin’s bleed proof white! The focus will be on clouds, with a bit of water spray. Your kit will full color card fronts and papers/envelopes for 2. You will be given 2 EXTRA full color card fronts for your practice, so you can choose the 2 you like best to assemble. Each person must be prepared to sit with and share bleed proof white with a partner. While any skill level is encouraged to participate, this is an art class. Some will find it easy, others not so much, but you are learning a technique. Everyone’s results will be different.
Your instructions will include the process that we use to create the full color artwork. Students must bring both a small and medium size round paint brush, water in a spill proof container (a water bottle with a screw on lid is best), and wet wipes. Some water brushes will work, but most dispense too much water too fast. You are welcome to bring them to try as well. Adhesive is required to assemble your cards. OPTIONAL: gray ink dye based pad for those who want to attempt the advanced level technique of adding further shading to the clouds.
Students will leave with 2-A2 size cards, and 2 additional practice fronts. Everyone will work at their own pace, and some will finish all 4, others will not. You will have to wait for your cards to be dry, so it is possible assembly may be done later.
YOUR CONFIRMATION WILL SERVE AS YOUR TICKET(S). Please print and bring with you.
